A leader in large Stokes shift fluorescent dyes

̽»¨ÏµÁÐ is a leader in large Stokes shift organic fluorescent dyes which, when irradiated with UV to visible blue excitation sources, present bright and tuneable emission across the entire visible spectrum.

Our patented innovative molecular technology platform coupled to our modular and scalable chemistry allows the development of our fluorophores to further push the boundaries of applications in the healthcare sector through their use in bio-sensing (e.g. flow cytometry) and bio-imaging (e.g. multiphoton microscopy).

Building on over 20 years of research at the University of Birmingham, UK, ̽»¨ÏµÁÐ has developed a patented comprehensive technology platform, know – how and synthesis expertise for next generation of fluorescent compounds.

History

̽»¨ÏµÁÐ is a spin out company from the University of Birmingham which started operating in April 2019 funded by InnovateUK and private investment.

The technology is based up the discovery of a novel class of organic fluorophores discovered in 2014 by Preece and Robinson.
